A Visit To Utah....

Chad and the Little wild man Griff..... We only got to see him for a little bit and of course I forgot to take pics of the Overstreets whom we stayed with so this pic has to be good enough....anyway here's the story...

Last week Chad and I hopped a plane and headed to Utah....I know who wouldn't want to go to Utah right....well it's really not our fav place to visit however we were excited to see Morgan perform with her Ballroom dance class....

We were very impressed with these little dancers......they are really good (check out the video at the bottom)

All of the kids really get into it....there were a couple boys that were serious about their dance moves....I mean serious... All this kid does is smile....

Friday after we picked her back up from school we went shopping for her birthday then off to the Utah Flash game...yeah we didn't know who they were either but we had free tickets so we went.....and had TONS of fun...however let me first say....

we were immediately reminded we were in Utah.....who knits at a basketball game???? Really? Yeah it was true she had about 6 kids running wild while she was knitting....anyway just sayin... Chad does everything he can to embarrass this poor kid.....and always does a great job....

Self-portrait.......duh....oh yeah I was there too...you didn't think I was did you....yeah well I was and I can prove it....

Saturday we headed up to Salt Lake City to check out the sites and we stopped by and saw my Uncle Guy and Aunt Susan....of course I didn't think to take pics...oh well it was great to see them....

we really wanted to take the tour of the Conference center but this is as good as it got...they had it closed for the performance they were having that night....

It was fun seeing all the sites around the temple.....didn't stay long enough for the Christmas lights to come on but I'm sure they are great...

After the temple we headed back to American Fork to meet our crazy friend Gaylyne for dinner and a little bowling

we ate at the Pizza Factory where they have incredible bread sticks....no I really mean INCREDIBLE.... Gaylyne and Morgan

Then it was off to bowl.....sweet shoes girls...oh I like the cuffed pants too ..Saweet

I showed Morgan a few tricks of bowling ...that I learned from no other than Ms. Jones in Jr. High P.E....anyway....she did GREAT after I showed her how it was done....and she had TONS of fun....

Of course I kicked all their butts....but what else would you expect

We played some air hockey too...however because I forgot to upload those pictures until I was done typing all of this...you will all just have to imagine how sweet the pics are because I'm not gonna ruin all of this....AGAIN

We are so thankful to have the Overstreets live so close to Morgan and allow us to crash their house and their cars and for Gaylyne and Griff to help entertain us. We owe you BIG time!

Christmas Chaos....I mean Party at Grandma's House

It has become an annual tradition to go to Grandma's the weekend after Thanksgiving for our Family Christmas Party. So here's the goods from this year's party....

All the nieces and nephews LOVE Uncle Brian AND Uncle Brian LOVES all the kids.....no sarcasm intended....of course he HAD to answer the phone in the middle because it was Jen of course....

The kids always get to make gingerbread houses.....actually I think they've just become known as candy houses....no gingerbread there..I think they are getting to the point of just wanting to eat it all instead of putting it on the houses....

Denise brought all the movies to try and contain all those kids....ummm right

Thanksgiving Festivites

Since Chad and I were kid-less on Thanksgiving this year our original plan was to stay home and stay in our PJ's all day....but since Melissa decided to have a baby we decided to go spend some time with her for the holidays....so of course since we were going my mom, Don and Dustin decided they couldn't miss the party....I mean really who wouldn't want to hang out with Chad and I....

so my Mom started the day out right by tripping and falling into the laundry basket...thank goodness is was full of clothes to break the fall....it really wasn't funny....okay it was SO hilarious that....
I made Don wait to help her up so I could take pictures.....yes you can thank me for making your blog stalking...I mean reading just that much more entertaining...and I wonder where I get my "grace" Thanks Mom!

after Mom recovered we made her sit down to hold the baby......

and of course EeeGee had to have her first Thanksgiving feast starting with this scrumptious roll....can't you see the enjoyment on her face...

we were also graced with the presence of Brian and Jen.....which always adds to the comics of the day...

Grandpa was put in charge of cutting the turkey....where's Uncle Jack when you need him....although Don did do a fantastic cutting job....but can you really mess that up?! Hmmm..

ummm yeah...I have no idea what's going on here.....all I know is these counters are WAY to low for my liking....just sayin..

What an exciting group we are...

Glad we decided to hang with the family for the holidays...always a good time!

EeeGee.....a little early....shh and Dustin too...

Just a week ago this was Melissa....shh don't tell her but she was HUGE....and the little lady inside wasn't supposed to come to see me until November 29th but.....she was so excited to meet her favorite Auntie that she decided she would come a tad early....

so this CUTE little...okay she really isn't little....she came in weighing 8lbs 7 oz 19 inches long on November 20th at 4:13 a.m.....but cute as they come....except for my kids
and these little diapers......WAY to cute to not have a picture...hellooooo
ummm....yeah the first showing of the true fact that you lose a few brains cells with child birth....welcome to the world of um...motherhood?!?!

Yes Grandma I have 10 toes and 10 fingers....would ya put the blanket back its a little chilly in these parts....better yet would ya just put me back where I came from cause man this has been a rough few hours.....

AND would ya stop that flashy thing it hurts my eyes......however I do like the stylin hat Grandma made me

The People are my Parents...you have got to be kidding me....

Melissa told me she wanted her own post......sorry but I'm just lucky to have gotten this all on here...seems as if my blogging time is not as much as it used to be SO......

Dustin also arrived home a "little" early due to some health concerns ...

Good thing Brian and Jen showed up so we ended up at the right terminal.....Whew Thanks guys

and so was Mom

I think he was thinking about turning around and getting back on the plane.....he forgot how crazy his family is!

We are so proud of you Dustin for sticking it out as long as you did.....but we're glad you're home!
