Down the road in our neighborhood.....
it dropped at least another 2 feet....our driveway was clear last night....it also rained for about 3 hours last night to complicate things a bit....now there's not only 2 feet of NEW snow there's a layer of ice in the middle.....which means.....they have declared a state of emergency in the city. All interstates are closed until at least tomorrow, roofs of commercial buildings are collapsing....it's a crazy world out there.....so we're hunkered down playing monopoly.. 
Oh did I mention YES it is still snowing....another 10-18 inches are due today.....that's A LOT of snow people....not to mention when it starts melting off.....it could cause lots of flooding.....
Kenna was supervising me as I was trying to dig out the boys boots after they made their jump....which is the video at the end....they lost their boots...
I swear this driveway has been shoveled 18 times......its staying this way for a couple days...we're TIRED...
somewhere to the left is the stairs to our front door.....hope nobody wants to come visit.... 
Cayden and Kenna are looking for the mailbox......this is also the entrance to our driveway.........I don't think we're going to get mail for awhile....so just save all the checks you were sending for a week or so.....

you can't really see it but this is our satellite......it has a 4 inch layer of ice on it....better get to chipping it away otherwise we're in for a LONG weekend with no T.V. 
Our house was pounded with blowing snow last night too......but it still is a really beautiful site.
The boys decided to jump from the top of the driveway into the snow....needless to say I had to find my way through waist deep snow to dig their boots out....Crazy boys!
