Priceless Entertainment

Tonight Chad's band played at Charley's here in Flagstaff. Anyone that has been to Flagstaff knows Downtown can be a very entertaining place to be.....the people watching is AWESOME! Tonight was no exception......

The boys in the band......for tonight....seems that the band has changed a few time lately...Mr. Drummer Ken will be leaving soon and the regular drummer Rob will be back.....Royce the Dentist now plays the bass...and the newest member John plays the guitar...

A few people from our ward came out to watch them along with Royce's wife Jen....what dedicated friends!! Rich and Linsey were there too.....apparently I was too busy watching other people to take a picture before they left....

This is the kinda of people watching I'm all about.....he kinda resembles Beetlejuice don't ya think...priceless......then there are these videos I couldn't resist taking.....no explanation needed..

All I have to say is I love living in Flagstaff purely for the entertainment not only by my very talented husband but all the people watching I get done around here! Oh and thanks to all the friends and family that came out and supported these boys and their habit!!

Just like My Mom......

So lately I've taken on a trait I must have gotten from my Mom....I see something or eat something somewhere so I decide "Why the heck am I paying for this?".....I can do this! So....The other day I was at Linsey's and saw something similar to this...except hers said "Summer". I thought it was SO stinkin cute......so I thought to myself "I can do this!" So off to the store we went....
Taylor and Morgan and their friend Jessica are here with us so we got all the stuff....

We had so much fun!!

Well Sunday night I took on a new challenge of "I can do this!" For YEARS I watched my Mom cut, perm, color and everything else you do to hair.....so I figured "I can do this!" So I did....

Umm...not sure about the face....but he was brave and let me cut his hair....

I even look like my Mom......WOW....I totally look like I know what I'm doing!

I DID IT!! and He LIKED it!!.....so I CAN DO IT!!

Yesterday after work we flew....okay drove really fast....over to Snowflake to do sealings with Rich and Linsey (the sealer kept calling her Sister Carter....in fact called me that a couple times...said he had a senior moment) We were late but they thought we were so cool they still let us in.....

Ice Cream with Nana

It's Nana's Birthday today so we went to Little America to get Ice Cream with Linsey and the kids yesterday..... Nana, Chad and Kenna trying to eat their ice cream before it melted....it was actually quite warm yesterday believe it or not...

July.......in a nutshell

So because I've been "busy" here's our July so far.......
At some point Chad and I went to Wilhoit to pick Cayden and Kenna up after they spent the week with Dwayne and Eve (lifesavers!!) Nobody was there when we got there so we decided to take a grand tour of Wilhoit...

Because who wouldn't want their main transportation to be their ATV....

and the "hang out" to be the coolest little store....which all the kids kindly know as "The Candy Store"

And this was the "Tour Jeep".......Chad was trying to tell me to make sure I didn't scratch it with my crutches.....

so I showed him my sweet skills I had with my crutches instead.....why am I on crutches you might ask......well don't cause it doesn't have a good enough story to tell besides I was doing Paige's hair.....dangerous I know....

So I carefully "jumped" in but put just a couple scratches.....sorry Fuzz

and of course Angel HAD to come

love the dog....minus the hair......I think she is the only thing Chad would leave me for.....hmmmm good thing she doesn't live with us we might have a problem

Fourth of July we spent at Barb's for Rachel's baptism.....which of course it would have made to much sense to take pictures at the baptism....I hurt myself right before that's my only excuse...anyway after the baptism we went to the pool....

But before we headed down to the HEAT....Chad and I jumped on the bike and took a little over night trip to Payson and then back home thru Snowflake my old stomping grounds.....

the BEST part about the bike......9.00 to ride for two days!!

So there ya have it July in a nutshell!

Oh yes.....Barb also came up with Rachel and Nathan to stay with my kids for this week and all I have to say is THANKS BARB (I was never home to take pics of all the fun things they did....lucky!)

Lake Powell.......finally

It took me awhile to recover from this trip but here it is finally.....there are TONS of pictures some of which I didn't even post so enjoy.....

This was our prime "real estate" by the time Friday came we had to more pop-up....sweet set up if I do say so myself..

However a small hurricane came shortly after we got there and just about took it out.....as you can see the kids were really concerned about everything flying away....

and I were trying to hold it down while Tyler was trying to anchor it all down....mean while getting hammered with dirt....then topped it off with a nice rain....after that it was beautiful...

and what would a lake trip be without a game of football....

however this year I was smart enough NOT to "hold" the football for David so he could then tackle me!
