Just in Case....

you were wondering ...I'm still alive! I'm still living in a hotel room...oh but I moved up in the world....to the Residence Inn baby! But the internet there...yeah is SLOOOOOW as Christmas...takes forever I'm telling you....so what does that mean you might ask? Oh it just means you have to wait for all my FABULOUS pictures of all of our goings on the last 2 months.....and you should totally be excited cause boy have we had the life......

We Moved.....AGAIN

Yep it's true....we moved....unfortunately NOT by choice...

On Thursday I happened to go home for lunch...THANK GOODNESS!

Because when I got there I found this....

overflowing with water...not just a little bit of water....it was like a FOUNTAIN of water
this is about 3 inches of water....you just can't tell.....so


this happens to be our new home.....for who knows how long...

this is the water I caught from one of the SMALL leaks in the ceiling DOWNSTAIRS

Yep that's right it got EVERYWHERE...

So I called these guys...

and they are AWESOME! Jay, Todd and their team have been FANTASTIC! So if you ever need that kind of service....they are the ones to call for sure!

They assessed the damage and went right to work

Fun Family Weekend

Cayder wanted a "Cousins" Party for his birthday so we invited the whole family up over the Labor Day holiday to hang out with us....

So our days started out like this...

we had torn the wallpaper off the walls but still needed to remove the glue so the kids pitched in and we got all the glue off the walls to make it look a little better before the family arrived...
Chad was in a mad rush to get the bathroom finished so he textured....I painted....we got it done...and I forgot to take a picture of the finished product...oh well....guess if you read the post before this one it doesn't really matter because the house is destroyed now...oh well...
Let the fun begin....

Cayder got to open the presents Aunt Ebe Cops and Unc Wayne and their kids gave him...LEGOS! And Grandma gave him a awesome new shirt....a layered one..YEA!

That night we went to Williams and watched Buckit play and the gunfight in Old Town Williams

The kids had a blast dancing around like maniacs

and I finally talked the boys into going up front and showing off their sweet dance moves.....Unc Chad almost had to stop the show he was laughing so hard!

Pagieee had a cross country meet here in Flag on Saturday so we watched her run like a mad women and get 2ND PLACE out of like 150 people....YOU GO GIRL!!

And then game the "GAME"

If you know the Cardiff family...they make a game out of ANYTHING! So they made a "passing" game through the trees in our front yard..

This team threw the ball through the whole between the trees

and this team catches it....Chad really got into the game....nice PJ's by the way...

then everyone else just watched....

and played....

and watched....until...

we all laughed.....

and the PVC pipe became a part of the "game"

Everyone left on Sunday evening except my Mom...YEA....We were so Happy to have everyone up for the weekend....before the house fell apart :)

But the weekend wasn't over just yet..
We went over to the pond with Rich and Lins and the kids to drive the remote control boat and NOT feed the ducks

the sign says DON'T feed the ducks...

so we didn't....I don't know why all the ducks came up to the edge of the water...they must of liked the way the kids smelled or something...hmmm weird!

Of course my Mom stayed until Wednesday (left just in time for my house to flood) she cooked and cleaned and helped with the kids...we had so much fun and I'm SO glad everyone including Melissa and the EeG Monster were able to make it up for the weekend!

My Favorite Son in the Whole World Turned 10!

Yep it's true...My favorite son turned 10 yesterday! So in honor of the big day we invited Rich, Linsey and the kids along with Sommer and her kids over for dinner and cake!

Some how Linsey managed to not be in any of the pictures.....hmmmm

Of course the candles......that he blew out ONE at a time....

Then came time to open his presents......Rich and Linsey gave him what he called "A months supply of candy" I'm thinkin it's more like 2 days.....okay so I might help get rid of it but......

Then he opened the present we gave him....a CELL PHONE! Whoa am I crazy or what! Guess I'll find out really soon...

This video is the best.....J's facial expression when he figures out what is in the box is hilarious! Thanks Mom for making the "secret" call! Too bad he missed it the first 3 times!

I Love You!

The last few weeks....in absolutely NO particular order..

The last couple weeks have been INSANE....somewhere in it all we found a few minutes to run down to the valley to go to the D-Backs game...

my blog has definitely been lacking in the self-portrait department.....so here we are on our way...but first..
it's a MUST that we stop here....LOVE IT...that's all..

of course the D-Backs are not complete without the flag lady....umm yeah I got a picture of her and that's about it before my battery died....ugh DUMB....oh except for this....

seriously found someone that sweats more than Chad.....I know hard to believe.... but it's TRUE..

Oh us again.....

Somewhere sometime the end of July we figured we would go ahead and move....AGAIN...but this time...we BOUGHT the house....YEA!!

so here it is....and we LOVE it!

with the exception of the most LOVELY wallpaper....umm yes it has wallpaper on almost EVERY wall....who does that....sheesh.....

the entry way....it has great wood floors just for Chad's liking....

oh yes the curtains match the wallpaper....you're really not seeing things...yes they do complete the wallpaper pattern....AWESOME...

front room....okay so there's no wallpaper but the curtains are FAB!

the deck out back is so great and makes for a great outside dinner table!

SOOO because we felt we had nothing else going on we decided to go camping.....I LOVE *que sarcasm* Camping! But we had been promising the kids we would take the boat across the lake here and go camping so off we went.........

Then came the REALLY fun times.....

did you really think the wallpaper would stay?? My AWESOME friends came over and helped me strip wallpaper....I LOVE LOVE LOVE them....

some great teamwork goin on here.....she's the BEST!

seemed like it took forever but we finally got it done....Thanks Girls...You're the best and I owe you BIG!

I also had a friend come up for the weekend but....

this is all he did the whole time we stripped wallpaper....what a man! Sheesh thanks for all the help Devin! :)

Once the wallpaper fun was over for the day we went to see the Cardinals practice...but of course forgot my camera SO no pictures...dang it....then it was off to the lake again for a beautiful day of water...

Believe it or not we had enough energy to go to Camp Verde that night and take the kids bowling...it was a blast but of course forgot the dumb camera AGAIN...I think I'm getting old!

Then it was time for our AWESOME summer to end and....
