**** WARNING****
WHOLE LOTTA PICTURES COMING YOUR WAY
**************
Our trip all started with this...

Green Coast Villas.....AMAZING.....Tyler's
boss owns these vacation homes in the most amazing part of Costa Rica. So LUCKY for us we got a SWEET deal.....so off...

we went at 3:00 a.m. to airport to catch our flight first to Houston, TX...

Janell.....not quite as excited to go to Houston at 3 a.m.

but on our way to Costa Rica......we had perked up a little for the crazy adventure ahead of us.....

of course we had
DIRECTV on our flight to keep us occupied....or
asleep....

6 hours later we were there talking with Paco (name changed to protect his identity) about the GPS system....that would later get a name change also (it will also be protected because kids read this!)

Our destination Manuel Antonio.....with our trusty B.I.B (short for
ummmm let's just say GPS)...little did we know BIB didn't understand our directions....we wanted to go to Manuel Antonio a short 2 hours away from San Jose......
instead...

we saw an accident...yeah they don't care who's around.....you go around cause they aren't moving
and a banana truck.....along with a good 3 hours of things in San Jose we really didn't want to see....until we finally figured out what BIB wanted to hear and we finally ....

made it here (5 hours late of course) to
Tulemar!
Casa 405 would be our home for the next 6 days......

and this was just the beginning......

Tyler and I had to test out the napping spot.....it passed...

the view from the balcony....we just
couldn't stand to be out there *
cue sarcasm*

the home was A*ma*ZING

we were so tired by the time we FINALLY got there we went around the corner to
Barba Rosa...the frozen lemonade made it all worth it....the food was good too..

The private beach just a hop, skip and a jump away

We headed down the road to check out the public beach.....

Janell and her secret black hole....that carried plenty of snacks along the trip

we forgot to leave our glasses before we braved the huge waves...duh..or was it that we were getting ready to do our Baywatch impression...
hmmmm
the
Policia.....they were quite fierce with their bicycle helmets and all

the boys showing their wave jumping skills

and their not so good skills....they're under there somewhere

Janell and I needed some work on our wave riding...Chad tried to help but

didn't work out so well for us

The walk down to the private beach was amazing.....

and we practiced our "tourist" poses....
We met a lady at the airport in Phoenix that lives in
Quepos which is right outside of Manuel Antonio....she
told us some cool places to check out along with....

her pizza joint.....

so we checked it out a few times.......

Of course we had to have some
frameable pictures so off we went.....

I even had to be photographer..... I think I drove Tyler insane but hey I got some good pictures if I do say so myself.....

Of course we had to do the jumping pictures.....except Janell had some jumping issues...

made for some VERY funny pictures

Of course when she finally got it......we were already back on the ground...oh well..we're gonna keep practicing for next time

another GREAT picture by me....duh

a GREAT picture...not by me...duh
Then it was off to the jungle...

we headed out on these hot rods....with these cute boys in sweet helmets ( that might I add the helmets smelled like complete crap...just
sayin)

this was our tour guide Roberto that was completely AWESOME!

we found star fruit....that might I add makes the most incredible juice EVA

drove through the palm plantations.....

more palm plantation until we got...

here.....and went on this amazing hike..

up hand made stairs...across crazy bridges...

through thick jungle...to find

these absolutely incredible water falls.....Chad loved the cold water...

me not so much......

but it was one of those things you had to do even if it was coming down so hard it took your swimsuit right off......

AMAZING pools of water the boys did cannon balls into......

slide down into

hey Tyler is is cold????
Then we off to the next jungle....

to go ziplining....don't lie we look HOT!

practicing our "tourist" pose again....once again don't be jealous of the outfits...

Boys will be boys.....hmm wonder if they're gonna want to kill me for posting this picture.....AAHAHAHAh

Tyler took a picture of the guy taking pictures.....me umm yeah I liked the tree...A LOT...I'm not scared of heights at all.....

Saweet helmet Tyler

look Mom no hands....I let go of the tree for 10 seconds to take a picture...and just about had a heart attack...I mean its only 200 ft in the air no big deal right.....YIKES

Janell headed to the otherside...

Lookin good girls.....

going across the cable wasn't a scary as standing on the LITTLE platform that 20 other people were standing on too....

by the last cable we got a little brave......Chad showing his mad skills

Chad went on a dive tour...too bad the water was still a little murky from the storm they had a couple weeks earlier.....

showing us where he dove.....

all the restaurants had open air seating with AMAZING views...

and Janell was dying to ride a scooter....this is as close as she got.....
And then came the roughest part of the whole trip....

yep that's a massage therapist....yep that's at our house.....yep that's the incredible view on the balcony.....

pretty much could live this life for the rest of my life....

after the amazing massages......Ahhhhhh
Then came the chef...

yep that's our house too....yep that's an amazing chef......

that made this crazy awesome dessert....coconut flan with fresh fruit....YUM

and of course dinner.......my mouth waters just looking at it....I could totally have an entire post on the food we ate....which I might possibly do...just warning you....

Tyler showed his post mission skills by making a really awesome mango or papaya or something shake.....YUM to the EE
Then it was back to the beach....

they wanted to race to see who could stay up in the water the furthest....I lost...
Then the big idea of kayacking......WOW....

the waves were HUGE..

and kayacks yeah....ummm...whose idea was this anyway...

ahhh finally we get in and get going...we think

yeah that's my foot you can barely see....and that is Chad dying laughing.....

I wasn't laughing that hard.....come to think of it I wasn't laughing at all.....

Kayacking was too hard ....I'll just stick to the beach chair next time
The morning we were leaving we finally got these cute little vistors...

the monkeys...

there were tons of them....
Before we left we stopped by to say goodbye to Lynette....she helped us get all set up for this amazing adventure....

Thanks Lynette and Green Coast Villas!
Then it was time to head home...

Since we missed the scenery on the way up the mountain because of our adventure in San Jose....we caught it on the way back....
Believe it or not this is only about a quarter of the pictures we took so I spared you...but don't worry I'm sure more posts to come!
We had an AMAZING trip with Tyler and Janell and can't wait to start planning our next visit!
